Conclusions

        Creating products from water hyacinth is part of an environmental solution to a local problem, turning a pest into an asset. That is why that people from Purok Water Lily telling us that water hyacinths can turn into profitable instead of considering as serious pest to their place. Through the initiative of their barangay captain Leo Aquino, they were now enjoying the livelihood project with the support from Alliance of Laborers and Employees  Party List. 

       This livelihood project give additional income to people especially to the women of the village without much difficulty because weaving really is an easy job. Its' opportunities mean the residents get direct benefits from participating in the pro-environment venture, which adds to the program’s sustainability.Therefore, the researchers conclude that water hyacinths in Purok Water Lily are weaving for prosperity.
         
Recommendations

         The researchers suggest to the local government to give emphasis on the developing the livelihood project or program of its barangay especially in Barangay Wilfredo Aquino. This livelihood project can help in promoting and developing the economical status of the city.
             
     The barangay officials should start promoting the products and luring investors and businessmen to be involved in an array of economic interests out of water hyacinths . They should advertise their products in some of the hotels and souvenir shops within the Davao Region and for the entire world through modern technology. And they have to introduce this livelihood project to the children who are out of school youth to help them to be productive citizen of the barangay.

        For the people of the purok Water Lily, they should continue their interest in making the products out of the water hyacinths and discover some techniques and other way of producing products out of it.
